Taking a break

I'm taking a break from doing 7 small paintings a week. Because if I keep doing daily small paintings, it prevents me from thinking, composing, gathering information and creating large paintings. And large paintings cannot be done in a day, a week, or even a month.

But I will resume doing small paintings after some time. Thanks!

Blue violet flowers

6 x 8, oil on canvas panel.
It was pouring rain outside when I was painting this. The sky turned so dark I could hardly see the colors and the subjects--I was painting by the window using natural light. Maybe the painting looks like it's a dark day.
